From architects to economists, educators to retirees

The Rathmines Initiative was formed in 1998 as a group of individuals from different backgrounds seeking to enhance the quality of life in the diverse community in Rathmines by working in co-operation with statutory, voluntary and commercial bodies and public representatives. The area of interest is Rathmines Road Lower and Upper, between Portobello Bridge and Dartry. The Rathmines Initiative is comprised of a Plenary Group that meets monthly, as supported by a number of working groups dedicated to specific areas of interest for the community.
